How long can a family stay in the program? Families can stay in the program up to 90 days.
How long do families stay at one church or congregation? Each church rotation is for one week at a time, from Sunday to Sunday.
Can families bring their pets? Currently, pets are not allowed, but the program will accept any pets that are certified as emotional support. Supporting documentation is required.
Will children have to transfer schools? No, children would not have to transfer schools. The McKinney-Vento Act ensures that children that considered homeless are ensured transportation to and from school free of charge, allowing them to attend the school of their origin (last school they attended when they became homeless)
