Tephra Y. Fields, Executive Director Tephra is a native of the state of Georgia. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from GA Southern University in Statesboro, GA and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Piedmont College in Demorest, GA. Tephra has spent 20 years working in social services with over 10 years experience as a nonprofit administrator. Her experience includes nonprofit organizational management and leadership, grant research and writing, crisis intervention, volunteer recruitment and management, community group facilitation, community relations, and employee management. Tephra also has extensive experience in social services with foster care youth and homeless families with children. Tephra has been director of several nonprofit shelters for families with children, with one being an Interfaith Hospitality Network. Tephra has a passion for working with at-risk families and children while collaborating with community partners. She currently resides in Cincinnati, OH.
Angel Bell, Case Manager Angel is a 2018 graduate from Northern Kentucky University with her bachelor’s degree in social work. Angel will receive her master’s degree in social work in May 2019 from Northern Kentucky University. She has worked with homeless adults that Comorbid diagnoses of mental illness and substance abuse. Angel also has experience working with a team to create care plans, treatment goals and outcomes, managing finance for her clients and site location. Angel came to Family Promise in January 2018 as an intern. As result of her hard work and dedication she was brought on as a case manage on the weekends in May 2018. In September of 2018 Angel took on the role of Full-time Case Manager. When asked what she loves most about her job she replied “I enjoy doing the work that I do with the families. Seeing the look on a family’s face when they realize you care and you’re willing to help is priceless. On graduation day the families are always excited to move into their new place”.
